description
Encased in a rough, reddish-pink shell, lychees have translucent white flesh that is juicy, fragrant, and ever-so-slightly tangy. Originally from Southeast Asia, lychees are now found worldwide and are often consumed fresh, but can also be found canned or dried. I’m lucky being in Australia where lycées come into season during summer and are easily available.
